My little diva loves her bows. And she adores having her hair styled. So, obviously we had to combine the two and make this fabulous hair bow! This whole style takes about 5 minutes from first brush to final bobby pin. Super cute, super easy and super fun! Great for us girls on the run!
What you will need:
+ A hairbrush (and comb for those of you who enjoy super-smooth hair)
+ A tight hair elastic that is color matched to the hair
+ Bobby pins ( I use about 8-10 but this will vary due to hair thickness, etc)
+ Hair spray (if desired- I like this one for this style)
Quick steps:
+ Make a regular ponytail (using tight elastic). I like to put mine off to the side and more on the top (or crown of the head).
+ On the last pull-through of the ponytail, make a loop and leave about 4 inches out.
+ Take the loop and split into two separate pieces that will become the two sides of the “bow”.
+ Now use the 4 inches that you left out of the loop and pull that towards the front between the two sides of the bow. Then wrap it around one side of the bow and attach in the back with bobby pin(s).
+ Take a bobby pin and secure one side of the bow onto the pulled up hair. Repeat until you have desired bow look.
+ Replicate on the other side.
+ Use hairspray to secure your look.
