The product tray posts are here! I will do one a week for a month or so!  Thanks for all the emails!  Now…onto hair.

I figure let’s start from the top (and work downwards) shall we?  Here are the products in my tray that pertain to locks and tresses…yes I mean hair!  Of course, I use a few more than this (more on that in the future). These are my must-haves and my cannot-live-without items!

Comb- Silkome by Cricket

Well we all need a comb now don’t we?  Well why is this one so special?  Ok two reasons. One- it’s got the right amount of spaces between the combs.  What’s that you say? Spaces? Yup.  One end for taming and one for teasing.  But this comb, unlike some others has the perfect amount.  And the second reason is silicone. Yes I said silicone people.  This makes this comb glide so much easier than the normal combs found in the masses.  I appreciate this feature because of the texture of my hair (wavy or even curly at times).  And for clarification it has silicone injected teeth.  Comes in a variety of sizes. You can grab one of these here!

 Hair Spray- Amika

Full disclosure I don’t use a ton of hair spray, etc on a daily basis. But it truly depends on what I’m doing with my hair and of course the weather.  I have the type of hair that has a wave and sometimes even something that could be considered a curl, but when I blow dry I can get it straight for sure.  I like Amika products for all of these styles and uses.  They have an array of products and not once have I been let down!  Pictured is: The Shield Style Extending Spray and I use this as the bottle describes. I have the regular size and travel as I cannot live without this spray.  I utilize it to protect and keep my style and sometimes a use a bit for fly-aways. I also use their Touchable Spray as well (and let me tell you good names Amika!). Grab it here or here!

Dry Conditioner- Bb Pret-a-powder

Ok, so for sure I utilize dry conditioner, like, all…the…time. Urgh.  Why?  Because I’m lazy?  Well, maybe. However, I blame it again on the type of hair I have.  Texture, but also that weird category that is listed as fine but a ton of it?  My hairdresser is always saying this exact thing to me.  SO much hair!  But it’s not massive. Which means this- I get “used to” shampoos and conditioners and have to switch often. Also, dry shampoo is my jam. Where was this stuff when I was younger! I digress…So Bumble and bumble makes this stuff called Pret-a-powder.  It’s a combo of dry shampoo and style extender (as stated on the label) and I have about three of these sized bottles in my possession.  It’s a corn starch base (no talc for this girl) and it comes in a nifty bottle that lets you direct the powder. It blends like a champ and smells awesome.  Best of all- works like a charm the whole day.  Also, my small bottles last for-ev-er. Find it here or here!

Elastics- Blax

I just had to mention these!  I commonly put my hair up in all different ways. I use clips, pins, etc.  But these elastics are a gem.  They are by Blax and are snag free.  Bonus- they’re clear (well the ones I have but they do have different shades and colors).  Blax work great for side braids, half-ups and ponytails where you want to wrap your hair around.  These elastics are also must needs for children’s hair.  They can hold a lot of hair or a little and are stronger than other clear ones that I have attempted. You can grab them here !
