Next in line of the product tray is my favorite- eyes. Eyes are the only thing that I put makeup on every single day. I tend to be more of 5-10 minute routine gal but my eyes are the part where I spend most of my efforts. Note- if you cannot tell by my pictures (or if you don’t know me in real life) my eyes are that weird color that can change with what I wear. Some say they’re blue, some say green and some days some can say they’re grey. So I obviously use shades, colors and products that assist with this palette. Here are my choices.
Eye Shadow- Revealed and Urban Decay
Revealed– CoastalScents is the palette pictured and I snagged this after I had a sample in Birchbox. Truly, what a find. There are 20 shades that vary in color (obviously) and also sheen. There are some matte and some metallic. Also, tons of options for things like smoky, cat and highlighting are featured. I like that this set is slim but also can be traveled with easily. Urban Decay– This brand is something I have used for years and years and love their pigments and longevity. The palette pictured isn’t offered anymore but I still had to feature it. I have used every shade in it and also have many singular Urban Decay shadows. They offer so many different option that can suit every age (both my teenage neighbors and my mother use this brand for instance) and style. Eye Liner- Clinique Quickliner
You know there are just a few things that work for you? You can try others but they don’t quite cut it? This is Clinique’s eyeliners for me. I’m super sensitive and when I was a teenager, Clinique was recommended to me for sensitive skin. I have been using it for, ahem, quite a while. I like this style the best. It has the best pigment and also has a smudger on the opposite end that I use daily. I also enjoy the diameter of the pencil- smaller enough for precision but large enough for blending as well. Additionally, this is the liner that stays the best. What do I mean by that? Well it’s not halfway down towards my cheeks at the end of my work day! If I am going out after hours- I will need to touch it up and that’s it. And it comes of so easily with my makeup remover so ultimately I never stray from it.
